The history of our church can be found deeply rooted in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and His saying to Peter:
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

With those words, Jesus Christ established all churches everywhere who are open in His name and doing His work.

1997 - 2005
On Sunday, November 2, 1997, we held their first service in Pastor Nixon’s optical store in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Services were held at the store for about two months. In 1998, God opened another door at a local hotel in Decatur, Georgia as a place of worship.
In the Fall of 1999, having faith that God would not let His Word return unto him void, Pastor Nixon declared boldly that "we shall have our own place of worship by the summer of 2000". In August 2000, God supernaturally provided a beautiful sanctuary for His people. On Sunday, October 1, 2000, we held our first service at 2520 Park Central Boulevard in Decatur, Georgia.

2006 - 2016
In the Summer of 2006, upon the direction of the Holy Ghost, we moved to Conyers, Georgia and began having services at another local hotel. The following summer we purchased 7 acres of land off Rockbridge Road. We held a consecration service on our land on November 18, 2007. That fall, we moved again to the Klondike Business Center where we would worship for almost 10 years.
By January 2015, we secured a loan and raised enough to finally build our own house of worship. In July 2015, we held a groundbreaking ceremony as work commenced on our property.

2017 - present
After several delays and setbacks, construction on our new worship center was completed early 2017. Our first service here at 1908 Rockbridge Road was held on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. We give God all the glory for this great accomplishment!
In the Fall of 2018, we began construction on an addition to our main building to create a space for our youth. We completed this project in the Spring of 2019 debt free!
By the grace of God, we have been able to serve with love since 1997! We also thank our membership and vision partners for their continued support as we minister in the community. ❤
